The Shores at Breckenridge provides homeowners with luxury mountain living in a scenic yet highly convenient area in the Rocky Mountains

Along a pristine, half-mile stretch of Colorado’s sparkling Blue River, you’ll find The Shores at Breckenridge. As the summer winds to an end, sales are heating up, prompting the builder, Meriwether Companies, to plan a groundbreaking on four more homes by the end of August.
Noah Hahn, a partner of Meriwether Companies, discusses several reasons why the interest level in the mountain community has been rising. “There has been little new home construction in the mountains over the past seven years. With renewed demand and shifting preferences towards clean, transitional and turn-key second homes, The Shores is ideally positioned to capture the market,” Hahn said. “Colorado mountain towns, renowned for their winters, are surging in popularity with summer vacationers, fly fishermen, hikers, bikers and nature enthusiasts as well—with growing consumer demand for year-round tourism.”
Mountain living might bring to mind images of solitary life, cut off from modern amenities, conveniences, and other people. That’s not the case at The Shores. Homeowners get the best of both worlds—gorgeous river and mountain views, all while living in a convenient area. Drive down the highway a few miles and you’ll find yourself in Historic Downtown. The charming area is full of numerous shops, art galleries, restaurants, and entertainment opportunities. Drive the other way on the highway and you’ll reach the town of Frisco in a few miles. Head out to the main highway, I-70, and on either side you’ll find Copper Mountain Ski Resort and the town of Silverthorne. The location of The Shores is right in the middle of the most popular mountain attractions and within 15 minutes of Breckenridge Ski Resort — its anything but remote.
Currently, The Shores is in Phase 3 of its building construction. The four new homes are set to be completed by the spring of 2017, and prices range from $975,000 to $1,625,000. Every home on the property has open floor plans with vaulted ceilings, ample outdoor entertaining areas, and large windows that provide scenic views of the mountains, river, and hundreds of acres of protected open space adjacent to the property. Each state of the art kitchen comes with slab granite countertops and premium Bosch® appliances including a French door refrigerator, gas cook top, built-in wall oven and microwave and dual-zone wine refrigerator. Clean, transitional finishes include natural stone accents, oak flooring and knotty alder, shaker-style cabinetry, making for a warm and elegant home.
The community will be fully completed in 2018. The Shores will include 56 detached and paired residences, all with easy access to the Blue River. For more information on The Shores, visit www.shoresbreckenridge.com.
