Houston-based residential and commercial land developer Taylor Morrison teamed up with longtime partner Johnson Development Corp. to create a luxury gated community in Texas.
Avalon is a brand new community by Taylor Morrison that is an addition to the already establishedmasterplanned community Sienna Plantation. Located in the Houston suburbs of Missouri City in Fort Bend County, Sienna Plantation is a 7,000 acre community that contains a 12 acre recreation complex, 34 parks and multiple outdoor activities, such as miles of hiking trails and a golf club. Missouri City is a perfect fit for housing these pristine communities, as it was nationally recognized as one of America’s best places to live and one of the country’s safest communities.
Currently in its pre-sales stage, Avalon at Sienna Plantation contains Taylor Morrison’s most beloved collections, such as the Chateau Series, Legacy Series and Inspired Series, all expected to be open by summer. The immaculate Chateau Series at Avalon is new to the Sienna Plantation community. This series offers six unique floor plans ranging from 2,741 to 3,787 square feet, with each floor plan including four bedrooms, either 3 or 3.5 baths and distinct single or two-story designs. Prices for the Chateau Series begin in the high $300s.
Another popular series for the Sienna Plantation that will be included in Avalon is their Inspired Series which offers the most spacious floor plans, ranging between 3,741 to 5,623 square feet, four to five bedrooms and 3.5 to 5 bathrooms with prices beginning in the low $600s.
Avalon includes six different interior floor plans that help homeowner personalize their homes to properly reflect their preferences. Each series feature different detail designs, media or game rooms, private front courtyards, gourmet kitchens and large master suites. Their decadent bathrooms are spa-inspired and their oversized closets, walk-ins.
Avalon homes are sure to entice homeowners with opulent tastes and needs. This community is perfect for clients who have families and require a greater amount of space. Avalon isn’t the only new thing coming to Sienna Plantation, though. The newest addition to the community is the Sienna Springs Resort Pool, a grandiose pool that is surrounded by tropical-style landscaping, a waterfall tower in the center, and 200 feet of water slides.
Besides the pool the community is filled with other recreational sports that do not require individuals to leave the premises. The community contains eight lighted tennis courts, a sand-filled volleyball court, an oversized playground for the children and the Sienna Club, a terraced amphitheater.
The community is located right in the center of some of the most respected elementary, middle and high schools, and a nearby community college. Sienna Plantation is a convenient location for commuting, located only 20 minutes outside of the city.
If your family is small or you are not planning on growing your family just yet, options are available. Homeowners can veto the additional bedroom option and opt for the wine room instead. Outdoor and indoor fireplaces and outdoor kitchens make the homes at Avalon perfect candidates for entertaining and hosting a rendezvous.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Houston division Jim Ellison said these homes appeal to the luxury homebuyer.
“Our new collections at Sienna Plantation will feature luxury homes with the same beautifully unique designs and high quality that our buyers would normally expect from us,” Ellison said. “These beautiful homes will appeal to the personal tastes and needs of our luxury homebuyers.”
The Avalon brand is no stranger in Houston. It is recognized as a luxury home community line designed to accentuate its high-end products. With the help of Taylor Morrison, each Avalon community is not only rich in natural beauty and in an ideal location, but its amenities such as privacy, comfort and easy access to near-by shopping centers, restaurants, schools, entertainment and recreational activities makes Avalon feel like nirvana.
What makes Avalon stand out from other communities extends beyond its master-plan for the home and its focus on the community as a whole. The inviting environment that has been created by Taylor Morrison offers a myriad of activities that homeowners can partake in to make Avalon more than just a place to live. An array of community events and classes help connect the communities while staying active and enjoying the great outdoors the homes are surrounded in.
Avalon at Sienna Plantation is a proud product of Taylor Morrison’s “Elem3nts” program that debuted three years ago in Arizona. The program is designed to help both the process of homebuilding and home living be as energy-efficient, as possible as well as well as familiarizing the homebuyer with the benefits of going green. Although this new community is currently pending a HERS rating, it already includes certain amenities that are sure to score low.
Their use of higher R-value insulation, radiant barriers, jump ducts, low-E windows and water management systems ensure that your home is being built using eco-friendly products that do not inhibit functionality or come at the environment’s expense. As a part of the “Elem3nts” program homeowners at Avalon can be guaranteed that their homes carry features that reduce environmental impact and reward them with lower utility bills. For example, their Honeywell programmable thermostat, 40 gallon gas water heater and ridge ventilation with perforated soffits guarantee that your homes are not squandering energy. Most “Elem3nts” homes receive a HERS score ratings between the 60s and 70s as opposed to the average 100 on a new home or 130 on a resale home. This translates to more savings in the resident’s wallet and an eco-riendly home. Taylor Morrison is a proud partner of ENERGY STAR® and uses innovative building products to ensure longevity for their home and the beautiful landscapes surroundings them.
Currently homes at Avalon are under pre-sale so no units have been sold. But with a land plan that includes water-front home sites, green spaces and oversized home sites, these homes will not remain unoccupied for long.
